Tatertot Casserole

Hi  guys!

Ok, so truth be told...I have been in a funk today. Do you guys ever have those days where you don't want to shower..even after doing a your workout, you just leave the messy ponytail that is now just a big sweat ball you pulled back out of your face,(I know pretty nasty...) lay on your messy bed and think about all the stuff you should do, but you don't want to...and so you just lay there some more! Yeah, that's been my day today! But hey, the good news...I finally reached 300 followers! That has made this funky day better (Thank you so much !) I see all the great friends I'm making and all the awesome blogs I get to visit regularly! I will be having a giveaway at the beginning of next week to celebrate you all! You guys are the best! I'm really excited for what I have planned, it will be a fun one! But until then...Here's a yummy recipe that is a family favorite. It is super easy and super yummy. Funk or not we still have to eat right!?

Preheat your oven @ 350 degrees. I use a square brownie pan. Pour 1/2 bag Tatertots into baking dish.  Add your can of green beans and "Sprinkle" them evenly on top of the Tatertots. In a pan brown hamburger and onion and season to taste.
Drain hamburger and add the cream of mushroom soup and milk, heat through. Pour this on top of the Tatertots and green beans and then sprinkle cheese on top.
Bake for 40 minutes uncovered. (If you don't like the cheese to brown cover it with foil for 20 minutes and then uncover for the remaining time.

  12. That sounds so good! Tatertot casserole has always been one of my favorites. It's been waaay to long since I made it.

Our is a slight variation of yours. We don't use cheese, use mixed veggies instead of green beans, and cream of celery instead of cream of mushroom. If I am making a big one, I use one can cream of celery and one cream of mushroom. (Yum!)

I start browning the HB meat and onions, then add about 1/2 the tatortots in with it in the pan, and cook them a bit with the meat, breaking some of them up. When that is done I add the veggies, soup, salt, pepper, etc. and stir it up good. Then I move it to a casserole dish (that has been thoroughly sprayed with Pam) top with tatertots and pop in the oven.
