"Tasty Thursday"

Hi you guys!
Today I'm sharing a recipe that I consider a "Oldie...but...Goodie" It is really easy to make and so yummy to eat!


Chinese Chicken Salad
4 Boneless,Skinless pieces of chicken (chopped)
1/2 Head Lettuce
1/2 Head Cabbage
4 Green Onion
2 pkg. Ramen Noodles (Oriental Flavor)
1/4 C.Sesame Seeds plus some for garnish (may be toasted)
Slivered Almonds (optional)

Dressing:
1/4 C. Sugar
1/4 C. Vinegar
1/4 C. Canola Oil
2 Seasoning Packets from the Ramen

Mix up your dressing then set aside. Chop lettuce and cabbage. Dice green onions. Put in a large bowl set aside. Cook,cool and slice chicken. Add the chicken to the lettuce and cabbage and green onion mixture.
Crush up ramen noodles and add. Pour the dressing over salad and mix well. Sprinkle with Sesame seeds to garnish.

A great thing about recipe this is you can kinda change it up if you want to. 

- You can add sunflower seeds or cashews or even peanuts.... or you can just omit them all. 
- You can also purchase cabbage and lettuce pre washed and bagged so you don't even have to chop or do any kind of prep work if you don't want to. 
-You can use rice noodles or chow mein noodles in place of the ramen noodles.
-You can just use salt and pepper for seasoning
